Katmai National Park offers every adventure you are looking for in Alaska.  Best known for the world class brown bear viewing, Katmai also offers volcanoes, world class fishing, hiking, camping and the ability to 'get away from it all'. 

Katmai is accessible by day trip from Anchorage or Homer.  Most access Katmai via Brooks Camp, which can only be accessed via float plane or boat.  July and September are the peak bear viewing months.
